Protecting your eyes from UV rays: Buy The Right Oversized Sunglasses
Most optometrists will tell you that ultraviolet radiation is harmful for the eyes. If you want to protect your eyes from the harmful ultraviolet rays, you must use a sunglass. UV rays can cause macular degeneration, cataracts and a number of other problems. The harsh sunlight can also cause skin cancer. It is fortunate for us that 99% of the rays do not reach the surface of the earth. But the remaining 1% is a matter of great concern for all of us. In fact statistics have shown that golfers who tend to stay outdoors can contract an eye ailment more than others. So if you are into outdoor sports it is a good idea to buy sunglasses.
You will probably need a good pair of oversized sunglasses for playing golf. Good sunglasses will protect your eyes by blocking 98% of the sunlight. If they do not have a UV code, it is better not to buy the pair of sunglasses. The sunglasses should have polarized lenses. Polarized lenses are good, because lights pass vertically and the glare is reduced considerably. When you buy sunglasses, you should note the details like whether the glasses have grey lenses or not. Grey is neutral shade. It will neither distort the color nor give away any contrasting shades. Most professional photographers will use neutral density or grey filters so that only a little amount of light enters the lens. If you use red color you will find that it does not effect the contrast, but distorts the other colors. Both green and brown are known to reduce the glare of the sin and increase both clarity and contrast.
